No. If a DownloadGroup entity vcan have multiple products you should give 
it a property $products (in plural). If a Product entity can only belong to 
1 (one) DownloadGroup, you should give it a property $group or 
$downloadGroup or whatever name is most informative (in singular), not 
$dlGroups. 

You can make a model that makes sense, without even looking at mapping or 
persistence. That is why Doctrine's persistence is called 'transparent'. 
Another tip: avoid abbreviations. Find the best names, so your model makes 
sense on its own. Then check the mapping.
