I never used this case and am not familiar with this way, if i am correct unidirectional should be used when there is no way to map photos to user in opposite way. It is almost similar to ManyToMany. If there is a way to map photos to user too, unidirectional would not be a good idea. A guru will correct me if I am wrong.
