The more you do to make life easier for others, the more likely someone
will try something out.

Your example in the email is not easily runnable.

If you had a git repo that someone could clone and then run the appropriate
doctrine command (which you've documented in a README) then that would be
the easiest way for someone else to see exactly the problems you are
getting.

Any other way is rife with assumptions and misinterpretations.
e.g. you have already said that it works with different versions of DBAL,
so provide two composer file so that people can easily run one way and then
switch to the other way.
