Heya,

I think that pear has been offline for an age and a half for now. If you
hit the problem with Doctrine ORM just now, then you've been living under a
rock.
Don't get me wrong, I realize that there are constraints, it's just a
figure of speech.
It's just that much more influential projects, such as PHPUnit, for
example, already shut down their PEAR repository ages ago.
