Zoals in de bugmelding,
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147567, staat werkt de
Nederlandse versie van Calc dus op de juiste wijze. De Nederlandse naam van de
functie is TEKEN (vertaling van de Engelse namen SIGN in zowel Excel als Calc).
Blijkbaar verwacht schrijver dat de Nederlandse Calc-functies gelijk zijn aan
de Nederlandse Excel-functies.
Kees heeft gevolg gegeven aan dit verzoek, dat wat mij betreft niet ingewilligd
had moeten/mogen worden omdat het Nederlandse Calc op de juiste wijze werkt en
het dus in wezen niets meer is dan een verzoek van een gebruiker die in dit
specifieke geval de Nederlandse functienaam van Calc gewijzigd wil zien in de
Nederlandse functienaam van Excel. (@Kees: Is het dialoogvenster van de
Functie-assistent hier ook op aangepast. Tevens is de omschrijving in de
Functie-assistent niet volledig want de functie berekent of een getal positief
(1) is of een getal negatief (-1) is of dat een getal noch positief noch
negatief (0) is. Zijn de wiki-files "Lijst met wiskundige functies" en
"Documentatie/Calc-functies/TEKEN" hierop aangepast? dan wel wie moet dat gaan
doen/onderhouden.)
Als zijn verzoek zou zijn om de Nederlandse functienamen van Calc gelijk te
maken aan de Nederlandse functienamen van Excel dan vind ik dat bespreekbaar,
maar niet als individueel verzoek.
Ook zijn in de Nederlandstalige Excel vreemde vertalingen terug te vinden:
• PERCENTRANK > PERCENT.RANG
• PERCENTRANK.EXC > PROCENTRANG.EXC
Daarnaast geeft dit extra werk voor het vertaalteam, indien zij de
wiki-pagina’s gaan onderhouden, die momenteel op NextCloud ontwikkeld worden en
waarvan momenteel ongeveer 40% tot 50% gereed is.
Om een idee te schetsen welke Nederlandse Calc-functies niet overeenstemmen met
Nederlandse Excel-functies, volgt hieronder een opsomming:
