Inderdaad Henk, de versienummering verandert en komt zo in lijn met
andere software pakketten, waaronder Ubuntu.
Het is inderdaad een goed idee en verduidelijkend om hier een klein
woordje uitleg over te geven in hoofdstuk 0 van elke handleiding.

Ik begreep dit niet maar navraag leverde onderstaand antwoord op.
The version numbering scheme is changing to year.month, so 24.2 is 2024
February. Olivier mentioned this some time ago.
Ik wist die niet en begrijp nu het argument, maar ik denk dat veel
gebruikers dit verwarrend vinden. Is het handig hier wat aandacht aan te
geven?
