Hi John, I did check out bug 1279766. Didn't like that you had invalidated that bug, so I changed it.
The wiki page you link to is misplaced. It should fit better somewhere in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UserDocumentation. OTOH, the page https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EncryptedHome already exists... Given the current contents in the official system documentation, I don't think that this kind of instruction would fit there. We could possibly link from the official documentation to a quality page in the community help wiki, but in that case someone needs to verify that there is an updated quality wiki page to link to. Personally I think it would be great if you could dig deeper into this, maybe update the current wiki page, and get back with a new bug report suggesting a link to it. Closing this bug. ** Changed in: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix ** Changed in: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Assignee: John Kim (kotux) => (unassigned) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Documentation Packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-docs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1279906 Title: "Encrypt home folders of multiple users" information Status in “ubuntu-docs” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Check out LP:#1279766 The user found it hard to encrypt home folders of new users. The option is already provided for the first user at the Ubuntu Installation screen, but it isn't found anywhere else. A wiki page has some information on this matter. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EncryptedHomeFolder But we can make a System doc page out of the information. It would be more convenient.
