Hi Gunnar, I'm running 16.04. My points simply relate to terminology. The window has the title "Screenshot" so surely it doesn't make sense for the page to say "In the Take Screenshot window ..."?
I always try to use the terminology used by the GUI. Here the GUI uses "screen", which I think is OK. So surely it's not a good idea for the page to use "desktop" in step 2 - with no mention of "screen". In my opinion these confusions over terminology make the page more difficult to read. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Documentation Packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-docs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1659824 Title: screen-shot-record.html is inaccurate Status in ubuntu-docs package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: screen-shot-record.html is inaccurate. I'm looking at the 16.10 desktop help. "Take Screenshot" isn't a window, it's a section of a window. The first radio button says "Grab the whole screen" not "Grab the entire desktop". etc. Someone just needs to read through the whole page and make a few corrections. https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/screen-shot-record.html To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs/+bug/1659824/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~documentation-packages Post to : documentation-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~documentation-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
