You have been subscribed to a public bug: The `ubuntu-docs` package is still on version 25.04 in Ubuntu 25.10, and the related `gnome-user-docs` package is still on 48.2 while the rest of GNOME is on 49.
We also use these packages to update the content of the help.ubuntu.com documentation website. There haven't been too many changes to this documentation set but it would be nice to keep up with upstream, until we remove this documentation sometime after Ubuntu 26.04. The impact is just on documentation files. The `gnome-user-docs` package comes with language packages that simply take translations from GNOME upstream. The `ubuntu-docs` package bundles its own translations but there haven't been any changes since 25.04 to translate. I've proposed a merge request updating `ubuntu-docs` to Questing but I don't have the permissions to merge: https://code.launchpad.net/~marek-suchanek/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-docs/+git/ubuntu-docs/+merge/494141 ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Update ubuntu-docs to 25.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2129202 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Documentation Packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-docs in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~documentation-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~documentation-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
