As foreshadowed in an earlier note, I have now put the chapters of the Writer Guide (in both ODT and PDF) on the wiki so ordinary users can get them easily. Please feel free to mention this on the users list or anywhere else you think appropriate, because I won't get around to it.
I'm hoping that this weekend I can find time to put the links to the wiki on the http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/documentation/ website. I'll put together a full WG book when I have a chance. It's quite fiddly to do, given problems in some of the chapter files that have carried over from the OOo version.
