Hi David, As far as I can determine, the only group with the permissions needed for uploading files and doing some other things is the Admin group, so if people aren't added to that group, they can't do much even though they have a login. I may be mistaken, of course; there's a lot about Alfresco I haven't found the time to figure out yet.
But if this is true, then we probably need another group with most of the needed permissions but not the full Admin set. I would set up such a group, but I haven't a clue how to do so. Indeed, I haven't a clue how to find out what permissions any of the existing groups have. So I'd like to leave this up to you or one of the other Alfresco enthusiasts to deal with.
