Thanks Tom.  Waiting for Jean or David to shed some light into this...

Subject: Re: [libreoffice-documentation] Libreoffice 3.4 Quickstarter Problem

Hi :)
Hmm, that one might be tricky.  It's not really something that is needed in
gnu&linux so the box might not be there.

Would it be good to cheat and use Gimp to copy&paste that tick-box area from a
Windows screen-shot into the Ubuntu one?  Some other picture editing software
might be good but Gimp is a bit like PhotoShop and worth getting used to.  Draw
might be able to do this but i have no experience with Draw, still.

I'm not sure that cheating like that would be a good plan.  What do other
people
think?

Regards from
Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-documentation] Libreoffice 3.4 Quickstarter Problem

Hi all,

I am doing Image Update for "Setting Up Libreoffice," and I am stuck at one
problem:  There is no check box for LibreOffice Quickstarter in
Tools>Options>Libreoffice>Memory. There is no "Load LibreOffice during system
start-up" option at all. I am using Libreoffice 3.4.0 and Ubuntu 10.10. Have
anyone come across such a problem? I am updating all the images taken in
windows
to that in Ubuntu, so I cannot continue until I solve this.. :-(

Jaimon
