Just a heads up in case people have not been following along the Google

v3.5 will have support for opening VSD visio files. Try it already with

the people working on libvisio. I could finally open some of the visio
files from work in LibO. :=)))))))))

I might have to utilize a daily build version for the current LO
template modification that I am doing for my IT consortium client. Its
current MS Word 2007 DOTX template needs a better manner of LO's dealing
with vector graphics (Visio graphics) in the Word template.
Then, I would not have to wait until version 3.5's 8 Feb 2012 roll-out date.
