Try using an uninstall app, such as IObit Uninstaller (there as lots of others...) and then do a deep scan with it afterward in order to be more certain that those orphaned files and Registry keys can be detected/deleted. Then check your LO user account files and left-over files in the "deleted" LO installation and delete those too--or keep them by moving them out of their current folders before doing a clean installation.

Revo Uninstaller is another app I have seen mentioned.

Subject: [libreoffice-documentation] Uninstall

Just did an uninstall of 3.5 and checked my Programs Folder. Libreoffice leaves behind 40 files... Then looked at the 3.5 PDF Documentation and "uninstall" isn't even listed. Where are the Uninstall install instructions? -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to documentation+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/documentation/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

when I was using windows, this was normal by uninstalling software... i think you mean mainly dlls and configuration files; I think you need something like a dll cleaner or similar tolls for it.
