The 2013 Open Help Conference & Sprints takes place June 15-19 in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. Open Help brings together leaders in open source documentation and support, as well as people from across the technical communications industry who are interested in community-based help.
I attended last year's conference, which was both informative and a great opportunity to meet others working in similar areas. "Help" included a range of user-information deliveries, including Help shipped with the product, wikis, various support systems like Ask LibreOffice, and so on. We also talked about growing and nuturing communities. I think it would be great if someone from our team could attend this conference. I'm very unlikely to make another trip to the US this year (or not until much later, if at all), and it's good to spread the opportunities around. So if you're interested, please speak up. Limited financial assistance may be available, so don't let cost deter you from expressing interest. --Jean -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to documentation+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/documentation/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
