For those members of the team who don't follow the Board-discuss list, I'll
mention that the election has not yet been formally called, though people are
being encouraged to consider nominating themselves or others.

Please note that only members of The Document Foundation are eligible to be
members of the Board or to vote in elections. That leaves out Hazel, who is not
a member of TDF.

I am a member of TDF and of the Membership Committee, which oversees the
election of members of the Board of Directors. Unrelated to that, I will not be
nominating for the BoD, and will I not accept a nomination if someone else
wants to nominates me. My reasons are private, have nothing to do with TDF, and
are not open for discussion.
