I did a lot of work on Chapter 1, in fact I pretty much rewrote it. With
track changes on, it was getting so hard to work with it that I asked
Drew to review it and accept or reject my changes. After that, using
track changes would not slow me down so much.
When Drew finished reviewing Chapter 1, he put it in the Feedback
folder. There was hardly anything else there at the time and I had
forgotten that it is there. Meanwhile, I had started working on Chapter
3, and also had other commitments and travel to deal with.
So, I had cleaned up/clarified/organized/updated Chapter 1. But what I
had not done was a higher level review of the chapter, nor had I
carefully gone over the release notes and modified the chapter
accordingly. I don't remember now but there may need to be some new
screenshots as well.
All of this to say that I was not done with Chapter 1 yet. However, it
has been languishing for a while and you may have already started to
work on it. If you have started, that is fine and please continue. Just
keep in mind that it was not quite ready for review.
One of the things that needs to be mentioned is the Notebook bar. When
the team discussed it, I think Drew offered to write an appendix about
it. Thus, the chapter needs to mention that the Notebook bar exists,
show a screenshot, and refer to the appendix.
I will let you know if anything else comes to mind that should be included.
