Which version did you translate? The direct connetion to PostgreSQL is part of the Base-Handbuch since LO 4.1. The only part, which has been changed sind LO 6.2 (Last version I uploded to de.libreoffice.org) and LO 6.4, is part of the Report Builder. There could be added the possibility to auto-grow fields.
