Dear documentation team,

I'd like to report an issue and suggest revision about Math Guide (I looked at
version 6.4), regarding the Greek symbols.

Right now, the Guide describes the two series of symbols, "Greek" and "iGreek",
in "Greek characters" section in Chapter 1 (page 14-15) as well as the "Greek
characters" section in Appendix (page 71-72).

Both sections gave me the impression that to input a non-italic lowercase greek
symbol, all I need to do is using the "Greek" series of symbols, for example
"%alpha", instead of the "iGreek" series. However, as I learned in bug 136251
[1], this is not enough for a new LO installation with default configuration.
By default, both "%alpha" and "%ialpha" give italic symbols, and I need to
change the "GreekCharStyle" expert configuration option to get non-italic
lowercase Greek symbols.

Would you please revise the Math Guide to mention this configuration and the
effect of its default value?

I'm not subscribed, so please keep me in CC when reply.
