Hello Jean Thanks for the explanation. I did find a solution.
If you click on the gap between pages, a little box opens and it allows you to manually change the following the page style. This works better than using the Organiser page in the First Page dialog. After finding this solution, I searched the Writer help pages and found the same solution there. I will look in the Writer Guide and see what it says. I will be hones, I am user guide writer, but very rarely refer to the user guide for the software that I am using. I know, just like a man. Your explanation about the template has also helped. I was wondering why First Page style had has next style the Front Matter page style in Organizer. I am now composing the Draw Guide and should be ready after Christmas.
