Took a quick look, and here are some thoughts: - In the "Initial preparations before connecting to an SQLite file" section, there's too much text about how to create an empty file - After using DB Wizard, I got "The connection to the data source "New Database" could not be established. - [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified" error - The previous point is apparently because I skipped "Make sure that you follow the instructions given in the driver documentation to create an ODBC Data Source Name (DSN) for your database" because I was expecting that "create DSN" = "construct a connection URL something like mysql:host=localhost;dbname=example" - Now I'm looking at docs http://ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/html/index.html and can't find instructions to set up DSN on Windows. In ODBC Data Source Admin I can't see SQLite driver, and the tool says on the Drivers tab to use the driver's setup program to add new. - Ok, figured it out. Apparently, I was using 32-bit Data Source Admin, and a 64-bit driver can only be managed by a 64-bit manager... - Yeah, after that everything worked - So, the major takeaway from this: if you listed 3 ways to create an empty file, please add info on how to set up DSN, their docs aren't good - Also, you say that the DB file is assumed to be "C:\my_databases\libretest.db" but then never really use this information down the road. Again, I was expecting that it'll be used to construct a DSN string, but it wasn't. It should be used in instruction how to use that ODBC driver tho. Hope it helps, cheers!
