I had a similar problem with my '93. I would have to let it warm up on cold days sometimes for 1/2 hour, once warm it was fine. My mechanic replaced the oxygen sensor and it has been fine since. As far as the tranny is concerned I was fine until I went over 60 mph, when I started to slow down it would stick in 2nd gear. There was a recall and some sort of design flaw with the '93's and 94's I believe. I had the tranny completely rebuilt and it has been fine since. Don't blame you for not wanting to part with it. I suggest taking to AAMCO or some similar large transmission chain, they should be familiar with the problem and be able to help. Ron
