On my 2000 Trep, the driver door armrest and center console arm rest had
developed a dullness over time, both appeared to have a fading effect.
I used 409 spray cleaner and wiped clean. After they dried I applied Amoral
a
couple of times and both look like new. Very pleased with results.
Thought the above may benefit someone else.

I took my new 2002 to the dealer after only a month because the
window/door trim looked like someone wiped it with gasoline or something.
They ordered me something made for the car that sticks on and you really can
not tell. BUT, I asked to have mine painted. LOOKS NICE and that was a year
and a half ago. Several people at work have since bought them a 2000 to a
2004 Intrepid and they have all had theirs painted also from the sheer look
of dullness to such a nice car.
take care,
Pam
