Well, as it turned out State Farm was considerably more generous than I thought they'd be. They wound up totalling my car our for close to $9,000! Although initially they may have thought that it was nothing more than metal and glass parts now after inspecting the car and seeing how well I maintained it along with how I catalogued each and every service receipt they realized that I was very serious when I told them that prior to the accident it really was in showroom-mint condition. So I went back to my local Dodge dealer where they had that '04 White SXT that had never been sold and had only 319 miles on her and low balled them at $18,000. We finally settled on $19,000 and at 8:00pm tonight I was putting in my garage another Intrepid. Along with Chrysler's 3 year/36,000 mile warranty and it 7/70 powertrain I opted to purchase an extended warranty. They called it a "Wrap Around" warranty and it too will be a bumper-to-bumper plan for 7 years or 70,000 miles. It was cheap and worth it, I thought. However, it's not being provided by DaimlerChrysler but by the dealership. Anyway, sorry that I'm really comupter illiterate and don't know how to down load pictures but I'm sure that if you guys know Intrepids you know what a White 2004 SXT looks like.
