Police version Intrepid Interceptors are R/T models, which, as I already noted, have no limiter.
They will also out-accelerate a Crown Victoria Interceptor, and have a higher top speed (which is why many places with long freeways, like out West, desert areas and whathaveyou started switching to the Intrepids when they became available). But if you only drove from Philadelphia to California, I'd EXPECT you to have a LOT more miles left to go on the tires.
