Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone might happen to have a spare
#2 spark plug wire (first one on front right of the
engine) that will fit my '97 3.5 litre Intrepid?
I was checking my spark plug wires and the rubber boot
must have fallen off wire# 2 when the mechanic
replaced my plugs late last summer because it popped
right off like nothing was holding it in there.
Now the Intrepid starts fine, idles perfectly and
seems to run a-ok but it concerns me that the #2 wire
is so loose and will no longer 'snick' onto the top of
the plug.
All the other wires are still in great condition and I
priced out just a #2 wire at the Chrysler dealer and
they wanted $29 Cdn + tax just for that one!!
I'd prefer to save the cash right now by only getting
the #2 wire because I've already spent $800 in the
past 3 months on new tires and other assorted
maintenance and it looks like I'm in need of new
rotors before too long as well.
Thus, if anyone has a spare #2 wire in very good
condition lying around that they could sell to me
