Chrysler service manual states: The hub and bearing assembly to stub shaft retaining nut is a prevailing torque nut and cannot be reused. A NEW retaining nut MUST be used when reassembled. When tightening stub shaft retaining nut, do not exceed a maximum torque of 120 ft.lbs. Over torque will result in failure of driveshaft.
