Eric, I followed the advice provided in the Haynes Manual and it went very easily.
If you are referring to the plastic clip that supports the wire harness just pinch the end of it and the wire harness will free up from the chassis membrane it is connected to. This plastic clip has a couple of legs at the end that are pre-spread and allow insertion into a mounting hole then it locks and stays in place. If the "clip" you are referring to is something else please advise with more detail and I'll be happy to assist you with this. Thanks.
