Not very much to begin with and after inspection, very little. They essentially gave me a "disposal" amount ($500). Book was $1300. Too many things needed fixing, otherwise I would have gotten more.
I was going to donate it to a charity, but they took that tax break away last year. Also of note, Chrysler's don't do well outside of trucks down here in Florida it seems. I talked to CarMax about getting a 300M down here for me and they wouldn't do it. Toyota, Honda or Cadillac they would, but not Chryslers. --- In [email protected], Geoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > What kind of residual value did it have? > > --Geoff > > On 7/14/05, ricep55 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > It is with regret that yesterday I said farewell to my 1998 Dodge > > Intrepid ES. > > > > I finally bit the bullet and replaced it with a 2005 Acura TSX. > > > > After 7 years 3 months, 142,070 miles I finally let the old girl go. > > She still looked great and the body was in excellent shape, (no rust > > anywhere)it was just coming apart mechanically and I just don't have > > time or the locale to get under the hood and fix everything myself. > -- > --Geoff > MML Moderator/Admin/Occasional SAA > '92 Acclaim; '98 Intrepid; '03 Grand Caravan > Read about the MML at: http://www.moparmailinglist.com > Subscribe to the MML at: http://mopar.tamu.edu/mailman/listinfo/mml Web: <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dodge_intrepid> Subscribe: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Unsubscribe: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Moderator: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Yahoo!
