Hey guys I wrote about this car before New computer, new Ivac and crank sensor, fixed some wires that were shorting out (sending false sensor signal to computer?) new battery new alternator, new plugs and wires but engine still cut out and ran erratic. Then.. New mechanic changed the TPS sensor and voila it runs great! Everyone else relied on their diagnostic computer, but this guy visually checked the car!
Ongoing problem Car start great, then as it warms the cruise light blinks as the engine 'chokes' or dies for a second. If i keep RPM up it wont die. One it get to operating temp it idles fine and stays fine unless it cools down. One guy mentioned the cranksensor might be on the blink? Thoughts? Strangely i dont have check engine light and no codes. In fact even with the TPS problem (it was worn) there were no codes Steve ------------------------ Yahoo!
