well i got under the car today to check out whether the electric plug to the tank was corroded as suggested but, it looks like i have to lower the tank in order the ditermine if this is the problem. since it doesn't seem to be a real bad problem i will not got through that learing curve now! maybe this summer i just may tackel it but by then i'm thinking the car will be sold. thans for the suggestion. i was hopeing that someone found an easy fix not to remove the tank. bob p
