Thanks for the reponses... As it turns out I've got an appointement tomorrow morning with another dealer across town. You know, I'd think that even though the original dealer I took the car to was an authorized Chrysler-Jeep dealership that any warranty related issues would be taken care of there. I took it to them only because it's right around the corner from where I live. (I'd go back to the dealership where I bought the car but it's back in Atlanta and I'm now living in the Birmingham area). The appointment tomorrow is with an authorized Chrysler-'Dodge'-Jeep dealership. Anyway, at the first dealer the guys said they won't replace something when they feel there's nothing wrong, because then Chrysler won't reimburse them. The one I'm going to tomorrow said that the entire brake assembly is warranted except the discs and the pads. So, i'm just going to go there.
Well, they're going to find out what I'm experiencing. And I'm not going to settle for them saying "it's normal" bacuse my previous '99 Intrepid NEVER, EVER had issues of this kind and when I bought this car last April brand new with only 312 miles, driven it back and forth to Atlanta and Birmingham and now with 15,150 miles and between April '05 and now never having these kinds of issues, they can't convince me these loud noises are normal. C'mon... Like I said, I may not be a mechanic but I'm no moron, either... I'll keep ya'll posted...
