 I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about? The cover over the
passenger airbag is not a seperate piece. The whole padded dash needs to
be replaced, just for the airbag cover to be correct. That's why the
dealer wanted $700+.  I am a "shadetree" mechanic and I wouldn't go
through the effort of tearing the whole dash appart for an airbag cover.
Any business whould have to weigh the money, over the liability. An
airbag ONLY has to work correctly ONCE!   If it doesn't and it was your
fault, you are screwed!
