My sincere apologies; I was ill-informed as to the nature of the engines 
and thought that all Trep engines (all series) were non-interference. 
My extreme bad.

In that case, I would follow Geoff's advice and, if you're planning on 
running her for a long time, replace it as soon as you can afford it. 
Messy otherwise. :)

Again, sorry about my ignorance.
