Hey Tim, Welcome to the group. Lots of very knowledgeable people on here. I had problems with my window controls; maybe what I had was similar to what you're having. The problem was that they were burnt out. Every time you use them, they spark across the contacts. Enough of this melts/burns the contacts away until they won't do it anymore. That's what I found. I had to buy new switches off of Ebay to replace them. Works like a charm since. I could be wrong, but it's a thought. Good luck!
