My 95 Intrepid with 3.5 will not take the longer filter, since power steering lines are in the way.
Good trick with the Neon, which can use the PH16 instead of the tiny filter, and the 3.3 Voyager & 360 B2500 which easily use the PH8A size instead of PH16. There is even a larger truck size filter, holds almost 2 quarts, which also fits the same spin on thread size & seal area. The Ford truck 460 in a motorhome can use the Amsoil SDF26. Just measure the difference in length, and check your vehicle.
