I have experienced this many times, and in my case it
was always the result of a tire going bad. Tread
separation, causing the tire to squirm when it
rotates. Right now a friend of mine has that on his
Cadillac. Goes away at about 25-30 mph.

On the other hand it could be a warped disc brake
rotor. I've had plenty of those, too!
