I've got an 04 SXT (my 2nd Intrepid- the first was a '98) with just
over 36,000 mi on it. It's my only car and I'm it's first owner and I
do drive it every day. But as you can see only short distances.
Thankfully, I purchased a solid warranty when I bought the Intrepid
new so the car would be fully guaranteed against issues like this.
Anyway, I'm experiencing a sputtering effect while the transmission
is moving from 1st to 2nd gear and typically it occurs on the first
start of my day. However, through out the day it doesn't seem to
happen. I've never had the transmission fluid changed and as you can
see my mileage is minimal. Any idea what may be causing this? Could
my short distance driving habits be contributing to the problem and
effecting the transmission fluid in some way? Or is this issue more
of an computer or electrical issue?

Any ideas? Thanks.

 - I'll try to post some pictures of the car.
