I have just passed the 90, 000 miles so I guess my car is falling apart.
Remember a few week ago I wrote about my car...I took it to the dealer due to a
code I could not find. They only charged me half on the computer test since I
have had so much trouble. They too get the same code. Test drove it 11 miles
and said all seems ok. Cleared the code and sent me home.
Same thing happens last week...puts a little....then dies. As I sit waiting on
a tow truck I am thinking how WEIRD that both times it does this it seems to me
it is running out of gas. AND both times it was around a quarter of a tank,
almost ready to hit the red area where the low gas light will come on. MAYBE my
gas gauge is off a little and I have ran out of gas both times.
The first time, my son changed the oil and added about 5.00 worth of gas as it
sat. THEN the morning I was to go to the dealer it started up....DA dummy- it
has gas now.
SO, the other day I am all scared as my car stops on a freeway. I get it towed
to the dealer-AGAIN. BUT come back that night with a gas can of gas. GUESS
WHAT...it starts. Take it home and come to the conclusion that I have ran out
of gas 2 times now due to the gauge being wrong. THAT is not to say there is
nothing wrong with the car. I can tell it is not running right. Have some one
put new plugs in, seems to run good. BUT today the darn engine light coems on
and NOW another code....PO441 instead of the 440 looked up-----EVAP PURGE
Any one know where I can get instruction to replace the evap purge valve????
