Resistors are destroyed by high current flows. Your blower motor is on its way out, and it's drawing more current than it should. Soon enough, if not replaced, it will be destroying the resistor _and_ taking out the fuse.
Blower motors are indirectly exposed to the elements. Sometimes small leaves and other debris get sucked in through the air intake regardless of the screen. It puts a drag on them which eventually wears on their bearings. It won't be any fun, but I'll bet you need to change that blower. --Geoff On Thu, Nov 6, 2008 at 7:20 PM, jeff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > OK I posted last week that my heater switch only works on the High > setting,Replaced the Blower Motor Resistor and this fixed my > problem ,It worked for 4 whole days and BAM The heater switch is only > working on High again.
