*True*, but I noticed they start getting hard to remove from the heads after
about 85,000 miles due to galling.  If you're willing to spend the time, you
might consider pulling them out earlier and applying anti-seize compound to
them so this doesn't happen.

They disable the fuel pump by pulling its relay, and disconnect the feed and
return lines.  They then connect a device that is basically a canister
containing a fuel mixture with cleaning solvent that is pressurized by shop
air and run the engine off of that for ~15 minutes.  This is an old, old
scam that dates back to the late eighties; we sold this service back in the
early 1990s when I worked for a Lincoln/Mercury dealership.  I think we
charged $85 back then for it.
