Hi All, As you are aware we are departing 5th Sept until 25th Sept on a Flying expedition up north of Australia. We are taking with us a new device for tracking expedition progress. SPOT Personal Tracker. If you are interested you may wish to see how our progress is going by logging onto the web address below, and using the password when into the site, you should then be able to see on Google maps where we are located and where we are heading. Note we are not sure how long the tracks are held on the web site but we hope they will stay there for a few days at least. The system should send an updated position every 10 mins but don't worry if the system misses a couple of transmissions. This is not be used as an Emergency device as we have correct Aviation Emergency Location Beacon. There will be 3 or 2 Gliders travelling together but we only have the one device. I hope this is of interest and we will see how it works after we switch on about 0900 am Sat 5th.Sept. Note; we will switch off after landing each day and back on again in the morning. Cheerio, contact you on our return. https://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=1jpmBTuRX7qVIxmJ6QVy2eQRXAgRMhJcj (password baden) Regards Bob Balfour.
