I agree and for the last 10years 97% of our landings are prop off and
horizontal. I often wonder about cause of prop strikes. Seems like they may
be mainly landing engine on ones and not taxiing down wind or turning around
or overuse of wheel brake. I always say to a person who lands with wheel
brake on "everything in aviation is expensive so if you do not have to use
it DON'T"

Some tailwheel motorgliders I fly (not h36 I add) I notice on rough ground
get a bit of a bounce up in tail. The h36 is very heavy on tail when
compared to 109A and falke. I found after a reweigh with the falkes they
could easily carry 1 or 2 Kg in tail and this means the you can actually fly
falke hands off in thermal (usually c of g is near forward limit) AND it
really glues tail on the ground. It is not hard to do a reweigh and add a
brass tailwheel if necessary

I seem to remember over past 30 years a reasonable number of 109A prop
strikes, Most h36s accidents involve failure of undercart but no prop strike
and not sure about falkes or hk36R
