Hi Neville, The photos of mechanism shown by you are almost identical to the units shown in Diamond HK 36 TC DVD. Rotation of wing purely by twisting, nothing on the holding mechanism appears needed to be released. The only operation I have seen is on smooth level concrete ground. They need to have a covering pad for the drag pin to stop it hitting the folded wing. Bob Balfour.
