Just thought some of you might be interested in a recent mod I carried out on a h36. See attached photos of inspection hole in wing root rib in accordance with Diamond work order. The 80mm holes remain open and make wing inspection much easier. Inserting a fluro work light and video camera is a big advantage. The rib and spar end have to be striped of any paint - no chemical method approved. I used sandblasting with fine walnut shell as you cannot use sand or glass beads. The area is then coated with clear epoxy to enhance further inspection.
