Hi Lasse. I have asked Limbach about this and it is an Harmonic issue. No high power settings in the range. Cool down power is OK
Less than 2200 RPM for change from fine to course pitch and the slide weight in the Propeller Hub may not slip out to get the course setting when you release the pitch control. To go from Course to fine be well under 2000 and even idle if you like and the weight will slip back into centre for fine pitch. Too high an RPM and it won't. Happy flying. Cheers. I just flew my "new" Dimona home, it flies wonderful! I´m really satisfied with choosing this little bird. Although a few questions come to my mind while flying and reading the manual. The manual says that the cruise RPM should not be below 2300 during cruise, does any of you know the reason for this? No other aircraft I have flown with the same engine has this recommendation in the manual. Also when changing pitch, RPM should be 2200 - any reasons for this or can the RPM be lower when going from cruise to climb? Any other tips that comes to your minds to a new Dimona pilot is much appreciated.
