Hi

I am working on completing the Ex Thai Dimona imported into New Zealand some
years ago and have a couple of issues which have come up which I am sure can be
answered by someone in the list.

The first relates to the 2 rod ends at the outer end of the elevator. They have
a 6mm dia rod end hole but have an 8mm thread. (normally a 6mm rod end has a
6mm thread) There does not seem to be any diagram in the H-36 parts book of
it, and the NZ Hursshmann agents have not got them listed. Maybe this is
another "special" (and really expensive like the front tailplane rod end). The
existing ones are too corroded to reuse. So my question is .... does anybody
know the part number of those rod ends??

The second question relates to the 2 work orders relating to a rib replacement
and operating arm / bearing in the elevator plus balancing weights on the end
of the actuating arm .... it doesn't appear to be an AD .... does anybody
know about that?? It seems logical to do it based on the level of corrosion on
this specific aeroplane.

Best regards
