I noticed on a H36 *II* that it had a gascolator and external fuel drain just forward of the battery. This is in addition to the usual tank drain. I hate the inline filter in the std H36 and would much prefer the gascolator to collect crap in fuel on the way to the engine.
Do other h36 have this ADDITIONAL fuel drain? To me it seemed the same as Aircraft Spruce sell with an extension on the gascolator to the outside of the glider. The same glider I was asked to help a person with a DI. I did my usual of turning on ele fuel pump and within a minute BOTH carbies pissed fuel. Needless to say it has not flown since. Ian M
