The Jaycar $40 endoscope is suitable for the 3000 hour inspection - make sure you get the one that is on a stiff gooseneck that can be formed to shape. There is another one that just comes on a floppy lead that won't do the job.
It does take a while to get the hang of which way the camera is pointing. This camera needs LOTS of light....the little camera headlights are useless. I mounted a $19 high intensity button LED from Jaycar on the end of coat hangar wire and this worked a treat until it burnt out. Only use them for a minute or so then let them cool. Incorporate the coat hanger wire as a bit of a heatsink with a bit of silicon paste if available. The H36 has 4 compartments above the spar tunnel that need inspecting. Tap along the top with a coin and it is obvious where they are. Drill 2 x 12-14mm holes in the middle of each compartment. Use a drill with a right angle attachment or a die grinder on a flexible extension. The upper spar tunnel is mostly plywood with a few layers of glass on the bottom so you will go through it very quickly. Poke your light up one hole and your camera up the other.
