Most of the Jabiru engines I have seen have dreadful airflow and baffles. They look like the cooling is very uneven...many don't seem to have any baffles at all underneath to wrap the air around the bottom of the cylinders. I am not surprised they have hot spots underneath. The RAA people don't seem to be quite as concerned about cooling as we are in the motor gliding world. Rob

This has all come from his work on Camit version of Jabiru as he discovered serious hot spots down bottom of cylinders near the push rod tubes. He is really trying to force all air through the fins and no leakage and thus less issues with rings and cylinders down the track..
